Assisted living, built differently

A small home changes everything

Most assisted living is one large building with long corridors. The Orchard is six real houses on a working pecan orchard. Your loved one has a private suite and bath in a home with 15 neighbors, a kitchen that smells like dinner, and caregivers who never have to ask their name. We offer assisted living, memory care, respite care, and personal care.

Physician-directed quality oversight

A physician watches over how care is delivered.

Our Director of Resident Care Quality is a licensed physician who is on call around the clock and on site most weekdays. He directs safety monitoring, staff training, and daily quality rounds across all our homes — and makes sure families hear from us the same day anything changes. Nursing staff are on site 24/7. Residents keep their own doctors; our physician directs the quality of the care around them rather than replacing their personal physician.

“The rooms were immaculate. The folks were nice as we went through. We looked out the window and saw the country views… You got the walkways outside in nature. As you come through the gate, it gives you a sense of security. It's a great experience.”

“My great aunt is a resident at the Orchard, and I must say I am very impressed with the care she has received… Not only is the care exceptional, but the community itself is a blessing. All the residents seem to care for each other and are very friendly with one another, which made my aunt feel right at home. Needless to say we would most definitely recommend this place.”
